Shyanne- 6 Months

Tuesday, my baby girl turned 6 months old, I want to know where the time went, I still want her to be the little baby I could hold and cuddle and love on, now she is too busy for all of that This is all about Shyanne and what's going on with my precious baby girl: She is now 15 lbs and 12 oz.- Now I know why she is quickly growing out of her 6 months clothes Little Miss Diva does not like to be held down, or confined, the bumbo, bouncy seat, crib, swing, car seat are not her friends She is sitting up by herself, and this is how she likes it to be on the floor or her activy mat, and left alone She can feed herself her bottle, when she wants, most of the time she likes it just fine you feeding her She will not lay down in her bath tub anymore, she is sitting up and usually trying to climb out the whole time I am bathing her She is sleeping through the night still, thank the Lord for that She has been diagnosed with Chronic Sinus/Allergies, thank you daddy, just what she wanted from you, lol Little Diva wears me out, by the time she goes to sleep, I am so wore out, I can barely stand it, but I love every minute of it Shyanne said Da Da and Mom Mee (that's how it sounded when she said it) She already has the master of manipulation down pat, whomever won't give her, her way she refuses to have anything to do with, won't even look at them Her daddy says this is a lot like me, and I must admit my precious angel does have my personality and attitude When Miss Diva is tired, she lets all of everybody know, and she fights going to sleep worse than anything I have ever seen Bless her heart when she is tired she is just like her mommy, heaven help those who are messing with her, just let her be and let her go to sleep The only time baby girl takes a good nap is at daycare, she thinks she might miss out on something at home, if she takes a nap, her naps last exactly twenty minutes on the dot, anything longer than that is highly unusual She is eating baby food, her favorite is bananas and applesauce, she will eat the vegetables but her favorite is the fruit I believe baby girl is going to be a huge daddy's girl, so right now I am soaking up the fact that no matter what she wants her mommy I am having a hard time believing my baby is 6 months old, I feel as if I just had her, but I so look forward to what is in store for my baby girl and watching her grow each and every day. We are so blessed to have her in our lives, some days are hard and some days are easy, but never, ever do we not lay down at night and thank God for our little baby girl, who we love beyond words and brings us a huge amount of joy.

Shyanne- 4 Months

Shyanne, you are now 4 months old, it's hard for momma to believe how big you have gotten just in these short months since you have been here. Me and your daddy love you so very much, you are our pride and joy.

4 month stats and other going ons:
You are 13 lbs 9 oz, 24 inches long, and your head is 41.3 cm
You took your 4 month shots like a big girl
You are rolling over, from tummy to back, back to tummy
The swing is still your best friend, you aren't sleeping in your crib at night, but will at least take naps in there
You had a brief couple of days where you were not sleeping through the night, you got over that and you are back to sleeping good
You had your first taste of cereal, your face was priceless, you aren't too sure what to do with it just yet
You are talking up a storm, and when you think someone isn't paying attention, you get louder
You still think your daddy hung the moon, I think you will always believe that
You have the most beautiful smile in the world
You are now laughing, it is the most wonderful sound in the world
Because the weather has been so nice, you have been able to go outside, you love it, you have even fallen asleep in your bouncer outside
You are not a big fan of feeling confined, you don't like to be in your carseat, your bouncer, or your seat, because all three strap you down, and you can't get up and do what you want, strapped down, HA!!!!!
You still love bath time
You are infatuated with the dogs, we catch you fussing at them all the time
You are in 3/6 months clothes
Me and Daddy realize how much we are blessed by having you in our lives, you have brought so much joy to us. We love you angel baby, we look forward to what the good Lord has in store for you and for us in the coming months.

Shyanne- Three months

Today Shyanne turns three months (Really, I just had her the other day)

I left off so much on her two month update, so I will add it here:

Shyanne started daycare on the 9th of January, she is adjusting really well, I love her teachers

A week before she was to start daycare she started sleeping through the night with the exception of waking up once for a bottle, and you go right back to sleep when you finish, you generally sleep anywhere from 9-10 hours a night


Shyanne on this day you turned three months old, here is update on all you are doing:

You eat between 5 and 6 oz each feeding, you have taken a 7 oz. bottle before, but only once

No matter what time you eat when I pick you up from daycare, you will eat again between 6 and 7, this is usually your last bottle for the night

You are now in size 2 diapers

You can still fit in some 3 months clothes, but are quickly growing out of them, you can barely fit in your pajamas, your legs are too long for them

You are sitting in the bumbo at daycare, your teachers say you do really well, you do get the lean some time

You are beginning to try and pull yourself up out of your swing, bouncer, and carseat

You like your activity mat, as long I don't put you on your belly, you hate being on your belly

You are talking and cooing like crazy, you talk to me and your daddy like there is nothing else

You adore your daddy, when he talks to you, you light up like a Christmas tree, you get the biggest grin and get so excited

You still love bath time, but you don't like having to get dressed afterwards, you would be just fine completely naked

You don't like shoes, you cry when I put them on, so I don't try anymore

You are not a big fan of socks either, but at least I can keep them on you without an epic meltdown

You are not a big fan of the tutus I bought for you, which I'm sad over, but it's not in your personality to dress up like thst, so it's ok

Still not in your crib, maybe one day, when you can't fit in your swing, hee hee

You love to give your mommy kisses, it melts my heart when you do

You don't go to the doctor until next month, so I don't know your stats, but if I had to guess you are over 12 pounds, we just love our chunk baby

I look forward to watching you grow each day and praying you turn into something much more than I could ever imagine. I pray the good Lord uses you in a mighty way to serve others, and I pray you have a love and compassion for all people

A letter to my daughter- A must Read

Shyanne Grace

Mommy loves you more than words can describe. I prayed for you, for a very long time. I cried for you, some days I cried until there were no tears left. I began to believe I would never know the joys of being a mommy. Then there came a day, on March 18th, our lives would change forever. On April 6th, mommy's birthday, we got to see you for the first time, and my heart burst with so much love, I immediately nicknamed you peanut, that's how you were referred to for quite some time. As time went by, and you grew in my belly, my love for you grew and grew. I had no idea when they laid you in my arms, how much more it would grow. But it did. My life was changed forever, for the better. Pure bliss is all I can say. Shyanne you are my heart and my reason for breathing, every day I get the chance to wake up as your mommy is a renewed blessing. I am truly blessed by the grace of God. Every night when I put you to sleep, I pray over you and I thank God for you. I pray you will grow into a wonderful loving person, with a tender heart who has a genuine love for everyone. I pray whatever you want in life, you have the strength to achieve, I hope I teach you to be that strong, Most of all I pray, you will know your Mommy and Daddy love you, we will always be your #1 supporter, catch you when you start to fall and we will always and forever love you unconditionally.

Shyanne- 2 Months

I am a little late posting this, but I have been busy, busy with our girl

Shyanne is holding her head up really well
We are still not in our crib at night, but we are working on it
She had her first set of shots on January 4th, she cried and so did her mommy
She had her first after hours clinic visit this past Sunday, diagnosis= a really bad cold
